Election Day Self-Care

-Stay informed, but try your best to limit your media consumption

-Take digital breaks

-Go for a walk (be mindful of your surroundings)

-Spend time doing things that you genuinely enjoy

-Meditate

-Avoid discussions about politics and the election, especially with those that may produce conflict

-Spend time with friends and family

-Create and maintain emotional boundaries

-We're still in a pandemic, so create and maintain physical boundaries

-Release what doesn't serve you

-Make alone time a priority

-Journal your feelings

-Say no to things that take away from your peace and say yes to your own needs

-Pray

-Connect with nature

-Allow yourself to feel

-Vote!
